Who was that special person who helped you to see the richness, beauty and magic of everyday life? Become a mentor today and help transform a young person's future.

The Family Violence Project is collecting books for Kennebec County Correctional Facility inmates, both male and female. Donations may be dropped off at 83 Western Avenue (corner of Drew Street), the Family Violence Project Administration Building. When choosing books, please bear in mind that a whole range of reading levels is represented at the jail, from barely literate to college level. Books should be brought directly to the Family Violence Project office, not to the jail. Donation letters will be provided if needed. For more information, call Robin at 623-3560 or e-mail robinm@familyviolenceproject.org.
